  • As a not-for-profit organization, APAFSS meets the criteria for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program, enabling our employees to apply for this valuable opportunity for student loan forgiveness.

  • APAFSS actively supports the professional growth of our team, particularly mental health professionals pursuing licensure through the Board of Behavioral Sciences, ensuring their time with us aligns with the required licensing hours.

  • APAFSS contributes up to a 2% match of annual salary to eligible employees' 401(K) retirement plans, complemented by a one-time $150 sign-on bonus.

  • We encourage employees to pursue higher education, offering flexible schedules (subject to supervisor and executive approval) and providing training and conference attendance opportunities relevant to their roles.

  • APAFSS covers 100% of the Kaiser Plans for employees, including dependents, and deducts premiums from the employee's payroll. Dental and Vision Plans are also offered, allowing enrollment one month after the start of employment. However, employees are responsible for covering the healthcare coverage of their dependents under the healthcare plan.

  • Employees enjoy 14 days off, including federal holidays. New employees receive 15 vacation days, which can increase to 21 days after six years of service. Accrued holidays may accumulate up to 30 days based on years served.

  • Accrue up to 104 hours of paid sick leave annually, immediately usable, with a maximum accumulation of 160 hours. Commuter benefits allow for transit-to-work expenses covered through pre-tax payroll deductions.
