Community development activities build stronger and more resilient communities

Experience & Expertise

  • Coalition Leaders

We lead the city-wide collaborative, API Family Resources Network (APIFRN), with 22 other nonprofits to build support and empower the AAPI community.

  • Resource Center Providers

APA runs three Family Resources Centers within San Francisco. We are frequently invited to provide educational seminars to other family resource centers in our community.

  • Neighborhood Supporters

We are the master tenants for 50 & 66 Raymond Ave, where we collaborate with five other nonprofits to provide well-rounded services to all ages and ethnicities in Visitacion Valley.

  • Collaboration Facilitators

We work with schools, nonprofits, and service professionals in other counties by sharing with them our program and service models. We not only engage our staff and volunteers with other agencies, but also with government departments and officials. We enjoy hosting visiting students and professionals and sharing with them our knowledge and best practices.
