3rd Annual Children’s Art Contest Exhibition

7/30/2025

On July 25, APA Family Support Services (APAFSS) proudly kicked off the 3rd Annual Children’s Art Contest 2025 Exhibition with a vibrant ribbon-cutting ceremony at Portsmouth Square Garage!

We were honored to have the support of community leaders, including:

  • Susan Chen (Office of Assemblymember Matt Haney)

  • San Francisco Board of Supervisors President Rafael Mandelman

  • Supervisor Danny Sauter

  • Central Police Station Captain Chris Del Gandio

  • San Francisco Asian Art Commissioner Tiffany Deng

  • Portsmouth Square Garage Board Vice Chair and APAFSS Board Chair Rose Chung

  • APAFSS Board President Cary Chen

  • APAFSS Executive Director Fanny Lam

And many more who joined us in celebrating the creativity of our young artists!

This year’s theme, "AAPI Festivals: Celebrating Together," inspired over 200 children (ages 4–16) from the Bay Area to create stunning artworks that honor the richness of Asian Pacific American culture.

The winning pieces are on display at Portsmouth Square Garage until the end of October—don’t miss your chance to experience this celebration of culture and creativity!

Exhibition Period: July – October 2025

Location: Portsmouth Square Garage

Thank you to everyone who made this event so special. Let’s continue to support our amazing young artists and their expressions of culture and community!
