A new resource for our Excelsior neighbors: a free food fridge is here!

We are thrilled to share that a new free food fridge has arrived at our Excelsior Family Resource Center at 4377 Mission. Huge thanks to a community partner for donating a commercial refrigerator and to ExtraFood for keeping it stocked with fresh, rescued surplus food.

With grocery prices continuing to strain family budgets, access to fresh, healthy food matters more than ever. This fridge means the families we serve can pick up fruits, vegetables, and prepared foods with dignity — right in their own neighborhood.

This is community partnership in action: one organization providing the infrastructure, another rescuing perfectly good food from going to waste, together ensuring it reaches the families who need it most.
