What an incredible morning at our Excelsior Family Resource Center

We were honored to welcome Governor Gavin Newsom and First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom for a visit highlighting CalKIDS — the college savings accounts so many California kids already have, often without their families even knowing it.

Our Executive Director Fanny Lam had the honor of giving opening remarks, and getting to watch our families' faces light up as they discovered their child already has money saved for their future — that moment says everything about why this work matters.
