This past Saturday, October 4th, our team had the amazing opportunity to participate in two wonderful events: the Richmond District Autumn Moon Festival 2025 and the Sunset Autumn Moon Festival & Health Fair!

At both festivals, we set up a resource table to share valuable information and resources about the programs and services our agency provides to the community. We loved connecting with so many neighbors and families to talk about how we can support one another!

We are grateful to have participated in this weekend’s 2025 San Francisco Chinatown Autumn Moon Festival, proudly sponsored by Garton Casino for the third year in a row. It’s wonderful to see the community recognizing the impactful work we do.

APA celebrates our Latino community and clients during Latino Heritage Month!

We had the pleasure of participating in the Hong Kong Fair presented by the Hongkonger Community Center in Newark. Our table drew many visitors who stopped by to learn more about the services we offer, and it was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community.

We’re grateful to Whole Foods Market for donating 264 lbs of fresh fruit — apples, bananas, and oranges — to our organization. These were distributed to community members at our 1099 center.

Chinatown came alive with joy, laughter, and vibrant cultural celebrations as we marked 38 incredible years of APAFSS! Families and community members came together to enjoy cultural performances, live entertainment, and fun-filled game booths under beautiful San Francisco skies.

This July and August, our agency proudly hosted outreach tables at the vibrant Excelsior Night Market to connect with local families and share more about the services we offer. It was wonderful to see families with kids stop by, learn about our work, and engage with us!

On July 25, APA Family Support Services proudly kicked off the 3rd Annual Children’s Art Contest 2025 Exhibition with a vibrant ribbon-cutting ceremony at Portsmouth Square Garage!

We’re excited to announce that this fiscal year, our Culturally Appropriate Food Program will expand to serve 554 families—a significant increase from the 335 families we supported last year.

The Vis Valley Summer Soiree brought together our incredible VVSF team, dedicated neighborhood partners, and families for a day filled with joy and connection.
